For quick reference on the go, almostadoctor now has a mobile version, and an iphone web-app.
To use our mobile site, just visit almostadoctor from your mobile device. We’ve had a mobile edition for a while, but with some nifty new updates, you can now search, and view all the extra features of almostadoctor (including blogs, and forums) straight from your phone.
As an added bonus for iphone users, we also have a 'web-app'. To install our app, just visit almostadoctor.com from your iphone, then tap ‘+’ on the browsers bottom bar, then ‘add to homescreen’, and you will have access to almostadoctor with just one touch!
Almostadoctor.com is looking for enthusiastic students to become almostadoctor.com reps around the UK.
To help recruit volunteers, we have loads of free pastest goodies (textbooks, online subscriptions etc) to give away!
If you are interested in becoming a rep, please read on...
Almostadoctor.com is looking for enthusiastic medical students, doctors and other medical professionals, wherever you are based, to write a few words each week for the almostadoctor blog.
We want the front page of almostadoctor.com to become the place for all the latest relevant news, advice, anecdotes, and events all around the UK (not just a big long list of ‘site update’ posts, as it is now!)
The almostadoctor team is very proud to announce their new project – medivids.com
Medivids.com is a free medical video library, with hundreds of videos. Its easy to search, rate and comment on videos, and is designed for medical students and professionals.
At the moment we’re still building up our library, and we need your help… just sign up to medivids.com (its takes a few seconds), and add any great medical videos you stumble across on video sites (youtube, vimeo etc), and you can even create and upload your own!
Hope you all had a great summer, and are (slowly) getting back into the swing of things. We’ve just put the finishing touches to a massive upgrade of almostadoctor.com.
As you can probably see, we have a new slicker look to the site, which should make it a bit easier to navigate around, and we also have loads of new content, and an unhealthy amount of new features.
