About tom

Hello!

I’m Tom Leach, a Junior Doctor at the Royal Bolton Hospital, UK

In The summer of 2009, I began work on almostadoctor.com. It started out just as a place for all the notes I’d typed up during my first three years of medical school, and has been growing ever since.

Now we have many medical student contributors to the site, and are always adding new features. Ultimately, I hope we can grow to be THE online resource for medical students.

As for my personal ambitions, I’m not really sure what speciality I would like to go into yet, but I suppose I’ve really enjoyed paeds, ophthalmology, as well as general and emergency medicine. I even quite like the idea of being a GP!

Hope you find something useful on the site,

Tom
